Hello Everyone:
Nothing like a normal day to put a smile on my face. In this case, by normal I mean I got whatever I needed to do done and had time to chat with the Brit BF on the phone. We talked for nearly an hour, mostly about that ridiculous article in The Guardian I told you about yesterday. It's all about context. Anyway, I got an email from the niece and she seems to be doing well at her school. She sounds both happy and excited to be there. I teased her a little about all the new foods she's eating-telling her that she may have to fly home in cargo and be rolled off the plane. Ahh, she's still in the honeymoon phase. I found myself getting petulant at the grocery store today over trivial things. I like to go in, get what I need and leave not have to wait around for the cashier or not find what I need. By the time I got home, I was in a better mood. I put everything away, fed myself, and went off into the blogoaphere. Another sign of normalcy is I'm back to mostly ignoring mama. She carries on about something or another and I just sit there with the EarPods in place or the Kindle app open to Steve Jobs's biography (a great read). I still think she needs a man. Anyway, hopefully more of the same tomorrow.
