Hello Everyone:
I had a good day in the blogosphere. I working on a post about how Atlanta's stadium construction madness is destroying historically Black neighborhoods. It's a pretty crazy situation because despite all the research on the economics of new stadiums which reveal that new stadiums have a negative economic impact, civic leaders and planners still insist on building them thinking all will be good. Seriously. Crazy isn't it. Anyway, speaking of crazy, I've been enjoying a mom-less day. I had time for an "office hour" this morning to catch up on some email and some articles for the blog. It was nice having the time to do that without interruption. Even better was reading during dinner and going through my morning business over breakfast. Morning business: reading the new on my phone and check in the links. Another amusing thing is the number of likes I got for a response I posted to a picture from one the pages I like on Facebook. It's something like around sixty. It was just a flip comment that resonated with a lot of people. Now that's crazy but in a funny (amusing) way. The last time this happened was about two-and-half years ago (?) when I posted an April Fool's Day picture on another page. Whatever.
