Holiday Break

Hello Everyone:

Pretty good day today. I managed to get in a post and go my sister's house for a Jewish New Year lunch. I think I'll take tomorrow off and throw myself into blogger land. I can only do so much family togetherness before I have to run screaming from the place. The company sis invited wasn't too bad. One was a late middle-aged couple and the other was a singleton who seems to mainly show up for the meals.  I mostly chatted with the wife half of the couple who works in computers. The big shock was my youngest nephew's haircut, or should I say, buzz cut. Once again he let his father clip his hair and thankfully, dad left a tuft. It'll eventually grow out.  Anyway, the best part of this whole holiday is that mom is staying at my sister's house so I can relax and just do my thing. I love when she does that because for a couple of days I can listen to my music and read. I have to go elsewhere to blog. The only thing missing is the Brit BF.  If he was still here, I know I wouldn't be bored. I also doubt I'd get much sleep from the over nights. One day. Anyway, mom comes home tomorrow evening so I sort of have make everything as close to her version of normal as possible. Oh well
