Makeover

Hello Everyone:

I had kind of a fun afternoon today. I went to the mall and ended up getting a makeover from a line I've never tried before. The guy who did my makeup was pretty cool and I ended up buying a great berry colored chubby lip pencil. It was fun learning new techniques and trying out colors I don't usually wear. Once in a while it's good to try something new and different. You know, change things around for the better. I was certainly impressed with the after look. I even sent a selfie to the Brit BF. I also spent a few minutes browsing in a couple of stores I normally don't shop at. I just felt like it today.  My only complaint about the makeover is it seemed like a tad too much effort and paint. I'm not afraid of makeup, I like the way I look with it on but I just wearing too many layers. When I do wear what feels like too much, my face feels strange.  However, this line did impress me with its way of organizing the product, something I need to do.  I like these fun girly moments. They remind me that I am pretty and worth looking my very best. It boosts the self esteem. I know that makeup and clothes are superficial changes but you know the old saying, "when you look good, you feel good."  I do feel good, feel confident even when life is crap. So, I enjoyed the moment as awkward as I may feel at times, it was good to be reminded that I am a beautiful person.
