Hot And Miserable

Hello Everyone:

It's freakin' hot and humid. I can't deal anymore with this weather. I wish it would just rain already. El Niño where are you?  Yes, of course once it does starting, I'll whine about that too. It just feels so unbearably miserable. At least when it rains, I can find ways to keep myself warm and dry.  It's almost impossible to keep myself cool in this weather unless I go naked all the time. I'm happy with the eight hours of the day I do go au natural. I guess if I lived in a hot and humid climate, I wouldn't mind it so much.  But I don't live in a place that usually hot and humid so I'm miserable. To make matters worse, mom is getting on my nerves with all her complaints. I usually just tune her out but the heat is just aggravating the situation. The one bright spot of the day was road testing a new shopping cart I picked up yesterday. Much better than the old one. I was able to load it up and push it in front of me, not off to the side. Definitely more sturdy and easier to handle. I think a few squirts to WD40 will make it even better. This cart was money well spent. I also had some real fun today with a blog post on this very unloved building in London, England. The building is called the Walkie-Talkie building and won the annual award for the ugliest building completed in the last twelve months. This building can even melt cars and is so hot that you can literally fry an egg on the sidewalk in front of it. The writer of the article I was working with even went as far as to mention that some thought it resembled a feminine hygiene product. Seriously. I normally don't get too wrapped up in a post but this one had me giggling like a schoolgirl. A sense of humor is such a valuable thing but not when it comes to hot and he mid weather.
