Hello Everyone:
I just got off a Skype call with the Brit BF. Always the highlight of the weekend. It so great to have someone to talk to have a more adult conversation. It's not some conversations I have that end in shouting matches or seem like I'm being condescended to and patronized. Or my favorite, I feel like I'm speaking with an adult child. The only downside is mom interrupting with reminders about dinner out with sis and her family. This should be fun. In true vegetarian/Weight Watchers fashion, I looked up the menu and plotted everything out. I'm good like that. Hopefully, I'll be home early enough so I can get in an episode of House of Cards before I crash for the night. Otherwise, the weekend has been pretty status quo. My Saturday evenings are starting to get a little longer which means I have more time to get in a full length movie. Mom, the verbal blog. Sorry, I digress. As I was saying, dinner with the family, always an amusing way to kill a couple of hours. There is no real reason for going out-i.e. birthday-just going out for sake of going out. Fine, I just hope the service is fast and the food is good. That's all I care about. The coming week should be more of the same old, same old. I found some good articles to write about including one about the L.A. River. Yes, there is such a thing. The article is about the city commissioning a local well-known architect to do the master plan. Should be interesting to to write about.
