Hello Everyone:
Another weekend almost done. Mostly it was spent keeping to myself and making little small talk with mom. In other words, a typical weekend. Good news on the Brit BF has access to an iPad with Skype on it we can go back to our dates. Also, I got a copy of the magazine with his soccer girl comic strip in it. It looks absolutely brilliant. Alright, I'm being biased but I am proud of him. He and his team did a great job. I hope they get to do it again and you can see it at http://www.shekicks.net. Speaking of creative people, I'm watching the movie Mr. Turner. The movie is about the late-eighteenth, early nineteenth-century British painter J.M.W Turner. His paintings are a wonder to behold for the way the capture light and color. I call him a proto-Impressionist because he was painting in an Impressionistic manner decades before the French Impressionists in the 1870s. I would venture to say that Claude Monet might have been familiar with Turner's work and drew inspiration from him. The movie is spot on for its art direction and lighting. The production designer did a fabulous job capturing the period very accurately. Timothy Spall, the actor playing J.M.W Turner, is a force of nature to be reckoned with. I'm so glad I waited for this movie. A gem worth waiting for.
