Thankful

Hello Everyone: The Brit BF finally left today and my bedroom looks way too big now. I'm grateful the universe gave me the extra time with him and hope next time he'll be back to stay. Our farewell wasn't as teary as the last time because I was a little more mentally prepared for it. I thank the universe for that too. It was a fabulous two plus weeks of doing things and going places I haven't done or gone to in who knows how long. The best part was getting engaged. I'm so full of gratitude. I'm also grateful to the universe for the interview I have tomorrow at the local department store. I went in yesterday to try to speak to someone in human resources about scheduling an interview but was given the email address of the person to talk to. Fine. I sent the HR person an email and he or she responded and let me know that interviews are tomorrow afternoon. Yeah, I plan to go and dazzle them. Another thing I'm grateful for is that rent relief is on the way. I checked in with person handling my application and she let know that everything is on the right track. Could my luck be finally turning good? I dare not say too much. All I can say is that I'm truly thankful for the past two plus weeks because it allowed me to get out of my head and we know what dark place that can get. I welcomed the distraction from the bleakness of the my existence. The past two plus allowed me to feel a bit more optimistic about the future. Listening to the Brit BF talk about his future plans and how he's going to achieve leave feeling energized. Mostly, he always gives me something to think about. I can't wait to see what happens next.
