Major Vibes

Hello Everyone: The Brit BF has been for 72 hours and is already putting out moving in vibes. He seems to have made himself perfectly at home to the point where he's buying things for the house and a few groceries. It shouldn't surprise me at all because him moving in for good is what I want. I am grateful that he is here, right now. Before he can move in, we both need to sort out some things. Me: clean and organize mum's room, put him on the lease. Him: visa, work, his house. All of those are doable, they just need to get done. I'm sure there's more to do that I'm forgetting but in order for him to get what we both want, things have to get done. Honestly after over a year, having another person in the house takes some getting used to. We both have set habits that require some adjustment on both our parts but nothing is a real deal breaker. I didn't even blink when he picked up chicken and beer for an upcoming Thanksgiving Day gathering with friends. I know he eats meat and maybe I can find a way to work with that. Anyone for plant based meats seasoned just right? Another truth, I would welcome someone in the house to help with expenses and chores. When the BIL proposed I rent out a room, I balked at the idea and told him I didn't want a stranger in the house. He suggested I ask a friend, to which I replied one way I keep my friends is not ask them to move in with me. My feeling then and now is the only way I will live with someone is if I'm married or engaged to them. We're headed toward the engagement part. Him eventually moving and getting engagement feels so surreal. It's one thing to imagine it, it's quite another for it to happen. He also wants to take me clothes shopping. At first I thought he was being kind of nice because I thought someone stole all my clothes but as it turns out, he was serious. All so strange in a good way. Well, we'll see what unfolds.
