Hello Everyone:
I had a minor sinus headache earlier this evening. Always a joy. I took a couple of Tylenol and I'm much better. The day, itself, was pretty good. I posted an article on how infrastructure can help deal with the opioid addiction epidemic. The article I used focused on association in the rural communities because that's where it's the most common. The reason for the epidemic is a combination of things: lack of access to proper healthcare and a lack of affordable housing. Addiction treatments are non-existent. Often injuries are treated with opioids without follow up. Once an addict in recovery is released from rehab, they frequently go back to the place where the drugs are. Some end up homeless. Homelessness in rural areas is so small, that it's hardly mentioned. The solution requires a multi-agency approach. Something that may not be doable in the current climate. Anyway, that's a thought pattern for another day. I'm tired and need to sleep.
