Hello Everyone:
It's still really cold but at least this morning I didn't freeze my backside off. To give you an idea how cold it was, at 6:50 this morning it was 39 degrees. Now I know some of you are laughing at this poor fragile L.A. person but please, have a little compassion. If lived in a place where cold was anything below 70 degrees you'd be huddling for warmth too. Anyway, I had a good day in the blogosphere. I finished one post from yesterday and posted the weekly edition of Blogger Candidate Forum. Today in the forum: what does a Trump-led infrastructure bank look like? After nearly a week into the new administration, anything involving POTUS, his swamp dwellers, and financial institutions is a recipe for disaster. Mom is far more optimistic than I am about POTUS. I see a man, undeservedly sitting in the White House, behaving like a toddler on a sugar rush. Yet, according to the pundits on NPR, he's behaving exactly the way he always has been and doing the very things he pledged to do. True but of little comfort. I don't think that everyone who voted for him are a bunch of racist, bigoted, idiots. They saw a man who they believed could fix all the things wrong with this country. My concern is what happens when all the those grand promises POTUS made on the campaign tra don't come true. The impulse is to say "I told you so." There'll be enough of that. Alright enough time on the soapbox. I need sleep.
