Hello Everyone:
I've gone from soaked to frozen. The good news is it stopped raining, for now. The bad news is the evening temperatures are near freezing at night. Or, the average winter daytime temperature in the U.K. I was so cold this morning that my lost feeling and my legs felt like sandbags. When I got home from my run, I put my hands on the radiator-not a great idea-just to thaw them out a little. I was bundled up but a lot of good that did. I saw one guy with a scarf wrapped around his face. It doesn't work for me because it fogs up my glasses. I did wear the hood on my sweat shirt to stay warm. I was even freezing in my workspace. Supposedly the heat was on but I didn't feel it and had to sit with my coat and scarf on. The good news is that there's no rain range in the long range forecast and it's supposed to warm up a tad. We'll see about that one. The funny thing is I keep saying I wouldn't have a problem living in a colder climate but here I am complaining about the rain and cold. I guess after that first winter, I'd get used to the cold weather. Random thought: I need a new umbrella. I wonder where I can get a steadier one? Back to the subject. Being from Souhern California, I got used to milder winters. Yes, it does rain and sometimes torrentially but it hasn't done that in a while. It does get cold but cold for the area is 50 degrees. Ridiculous. Anyway, bedtime.
