Weekend Chill

Hello Everyone:

I just back from a birthday dinner  with family. We were celebrating my niece's birthday. Not too awful two hours, just a lot of carbs. Not that I'm that carbophobic but still too many carbs makes too much of me. Now I'm chilling out with the Underwoods. The weekend has been okay, like most weekends. Mom has been extra annoying because of the heat. As usual, I can't get through a meal without being attacked and these days her favorite line of attack is my upcoming trip to the UK.  She's not happy with the idea and won't stop me. She can't anyway.  I'm only planning on having a nice time, getting to know people and places. Sis gave me a nice London map book. That was nice of her. Maybe she's not as big a self-righteous princess after all.  It was nice to see my eldest nephew after he spent part of the summer on the East Coast. The niece is planning her own East Coast sojourn around the middle of next month, conveniently missing my uncle and OCD high maintenance aunt. I'm seriously thinking of burying myself behind the computer. Anyway, I'm just going to chill, then bed. One of my downstairs neighbors was having a party last night and it went very late.
