Monday Chill

Hello Everyone:

I had a productive day in the blogosphere. I posted a piece on the revival of inner cities. Not to bad. Right now my head is exploding from processing all of the Donald Trump gaffes. To cleanse my brain of he filth, I'm spending some time with the Underwoods. Always a good cleanser after the reality of the presidential campaign. Speaking of which, now that the conventions are over, I can get some sleep and have some sanity restored. In other news, it's six weeks until I leave for the United Kingdom. I'm excited about it. Mostly I'm excited about seeing the Brit BF in person. Even though I'll only be there for two week, I hope it won't go fast. More important, it'll give me the opportunity to see him on his home turf and see if our relationship is viable or not. Until now it been more like an ongoing flirtation than a real relationship. I probably would consider it a more real relationship if we had more daily contact. Mom still has her objections. She has major issues about his race and religion. Can't do much about either one. Well maybe I can work on the religion part a little. Not that I'm that religious. I leave that to mom and sis.  In the meantime I keep on going forward.
