A Good Start To The Week

Hello Everyone:

I had a good start to the week. I posted the next to last Olympic-related article (I promise).  Today's subject was what happens to venue site after the competition is over. The organizers of the Rio games made use of temporary structures that can be disassembled and reassembled elsewhere for a different purpose. Sounds like a good idea. On the surface of it yes, it is a good but as someone pointed out if you have some kind of foundation, re-purposing a swim stadium as a school dorm is useless. Makes sense. Anyway speaking of the blog, a friend of mine in Virginia messaged me to say how much he loves reading the articles I and the ones we share between us. He told me that he plans to use a few my posts for his writing class at the community college he teaches. How cool is that?  I think it's pretty cool. He also may want to get my opinion on some things. Also cool.  I mentioned this and the fact I connected with Jobs in London LinkedIn group to Brit BF. He was pretty happy for me. That's one of things I love about him, he's so supportive. He also thinks I'm the one. You how long I've waited to hear that. Not even the ex said that.  I think he might be the one, too. I'll know after I get back from my trip. The best part of the day is I avoided the relatives. Not that I wanted to spend any real time with them anyway. I barely have any relationship with them so it works out. Besides, according to mom my presence makes everyone tense. I'm so unpredictable and unpleasant. Whatever.
