Mom Needs Help

Hello Everyone:

Wow, we hit 10,000 page views. Thanks so much for putting up with all my whining, complaining, and generally neurotic behavior. More to come, off course. What else would you expect from your typically vain, high strung, high maintenance person. What would you expect?  Right now, just plain tired. The usually Sunday night, too tired from staying up the night before kind of tired. The hot weather isn't helping matters. I just want to peel off my clothes and go to bed. I'll do that in a little while. On Friday morning mom got on my case about "deliberately ignoring" my sister and BIL when they came by to drop off a few things. Mom called me to say that hey we're driving by the building, on the way to an assembly at my teenage nephew's school (somehow no one bothered to ask if I'd like to come). She asked me to come down and collect a small bag of groceries. No problems. They came by and the minion caught my attention first and I barely managed to say hello to everyone else. They were in a rush. Okay. Well, the next day, she said that I deliberately ignored them. Basically, I told her that was the furtherest from true. She does that a lot, assume things that are so far into the realm of fiction that not even the best writer could make it up. I try to be patient because she's elderly and the cognitive functions just aren't quite the same anymore. Anyway, she eventually apologized but I really wish she would do something about her declining cognitive functions. These incidents have been the source of a lot friction. The rest of the weekend went fine.
