Hello Everyone:
A super productive day in the blogosphere. I finally activated my personal hotspot and worked at home this afternoon instead schelping over to the Activities Center. No worries about spotty WiFi connection, in fact it was faster than PLB's connection. The best part was I got a lot of work done without any sort of distraction, despite mom and the minion sprawling themselves on the sofa. I finished off the post on race and the creative class and got in a post on the Brexit. I wasn't going to let that subject get by me. I dubbed today's post "The Hangover Edition." It sort is like that, everyone all intoxicates with giving the European Union the middle finger, then waking up the next morning to the cold reality of the day and realizing you have no clue about anything. After all that furious writing, I am tired. It's humid but not terribly uncomfortable. At least the mornings are cool enough that I can get in a run without turning into a puddle. The minion didn't want to go home today. Why should he? At granny's house he gets treated like a prince. At his house, he's just one more child to feed and clothe. He gets all of the attention. This morning it was back to letting him eat his breakfast in the living room. The lad is big boy and he can sit at the table like a civilized human being. I can't wait to see what will happen at his Bar Mitzvah. He'll probably insist that granny give him ice cream. Thank goodness he's not my child because he wouldn't get away with anything.
