Hi All:
It's a beautiful spring day and I finally have a moment to write. Today started off well. I had a great run followed by a good breakfast then things got annoying. Specifically, I went to mom with a suggestion for a dessert item. Typically mom thinks I'm insisting she run to the store immediately and get one of the ingredients. Again, this was a suggestion not a demand. Apparently mom doesn't know the difference between the two. To hear her, it sounds like a logistical nightmare. I don't get it, why does she always think that everything is about her. Poor her has to be soooo inconvenienced. Lady, it was only a suggestion, take it for what it was. No one is asking you to do anything in the immediate or distant future. It's not all about you. I seriously think that she some comprehension issues that come with age that should be attended to. I realize I can't force her to see someone about it but I can try to change the way I deal with it. Also, today I'm feeling a bit pms-y so that's adding to the level of annoyance. Sorry all you men out there. The upside of the day is I got some housework done. Right now, aside from blogging, I'm listening to music and having my afternoon coffee fix. I found a great public radio station KCSN (http://www.kcsn.org) that plays a great mix of music and programming. They're on the web and Facebook so check them out. I'm starting to feel more calm and relaxed which is good.
In other news, I'm on track to get a navel piercing. I'm getting a refund on my income taxes this year so I'll have the funds to get that second ear and navel piercing. I found a tattoo and piercing shop that charges a reasonable price. I'm going to space both the piercings and tattoo apart, I can only take so much pain in one day (lol). I'm excited. I've wanted a additional piercings and tattoo(s) for a long time. Opportunity is making itself known. Yeah.
