Good Afternoon Everyone:
In light of unfolding events in the city of Boston, Massachusetts, sharing with you my daily experiences and thoughts seems pointless but share I must because this is a digital age we live in. Our session starts out on a sad note today as once again, an American city is plunged into a state of sadness and mourning. There was an explosion at the Boston Marathon and another at the John Fitzgerald Kennedy Library. Reports are coming in all over the place about the victims and the sources. All anyone can say at this time is "Why?" Why target a running race and library dedicated to a person who had the potential to be a transformative president before his life was cut short by an assassin's bullet. It makes you stop and think about the fragility of human life. It also make think about the sheer cruelty and terror people use upon each other for whatever goal. If you want to make a some sort of political statement do it at the ballot box not take it out on innocent people. There is no reason to set off an IED at the finish line of a running race or at a library because you don't agree with a country's government or policies. What does the killing and injuring of innocent human beings accomplish? Nothing. All you've done is kill and injure people, destroy property, and made yourself a target for law enforcement.
