So Many Things

Hello Everyone: Thursday it was back to work. The boys were, how can I put it, very restless. Getting them through the lesson took a good deal of effort. Friday was better. Even though I only worked Thursday and Friday, it seemed a lot longer. This week, it's back to the regular schedule. As it turns out, teaching is something that I'm actually good at. The question is what steps do I take to achieve my goal of getting in front of a room. The obvious step is get my teaching credentials, which I may do. The other obvious step is go back to school for a teaching degree. The thing is I want to find a program that would let me combine both art and preservation into something. The closet thing I can think of is art education. I have to move fast on another graduate degree because the application filiing period begins soon. The next question is online or in-person and do I want to take out additional student loans? It's alot to think about in a short period of time. Another option is to go through the public school district internship program. It's a thought but I really don't want to deal with all their bureaucracy. Also, I heard somewhere that the credential exams are no longer neccesary. I need clarity on that one. So many things to think about.
