Family Matters

Hello Everyone: It's Sunday evening and I'm really tired. That's what happens when I stay up too late on Saturday night streaming stuff. Oh well. Anyway, During yesterday's lunch, Sis mentioned that some relatives are coming for a short visit. These are relatives I'm not that crazy about. Sis and BIL plan to entertain them and wanted to know if I'd be interested in joining them for lunch or dinner. Truth, not really. I rarely see these people and it's not we're close or anything like that. I suppose I should, at the very least, metaphorically stick my head in the door and say hello. I've got about a week to consider it. In the meantime I sent off my resume to a local presevation firm for a historian job. It's definitely something I can do. Meanwhile I have the school and it's not a bad job. I can think of worse places to work. The historian job is the career job I'd love to have. After all, that's what I know. I like the boys but, if given the chance, I'd take the preservation job. For now, I just focus on the job I have.
