New Opportunity

Hello Everyone: It's been an emotionally draining few days I finally came to the conclusion that the nice school, near my house, was not going to expand my responsibilities. Pity. Instead I got the usual blow off statement "if we have anything available, we'll let you know." Right. I sound rather bloodless about the situation but, really, it was just a job. No sooner did I cut myself loose, I found two great opportunities, one with the county as a regional planner and another was a community college teacher training course. I like both of them and can envision myself as either a college professor or planner. If I to choose, it would be the college professor. That suits me more than some bureaucrat. More on that as it developes Although the BIL explained me that the biggest benefit of government jobs is getting paid to do as little work as possible. That does sound attractive. Speaking of the BIL, he's father passed away and the funeral is Tuesday. His was a nice man who loved his wife, children, and grandchildren. He had been ill over the past few years. Sad for him and his family.
