Family Time

Hello Everyone: The funeral was a nice, diginified, and respectful. The BIL and his brothers gave nice eulogies. I started to get a little misty-eyed towards the end. Afterwards I went back to Sis and BIL's house for awhile. We chatted, I got to see him and his brothers interact with each other. It was nice to see how close they are. Interesting thing, BIL's youngest brother brought his GF and eldest son to the funeral. The GF isn't Jewish and the son is not considered Jewish because his mum isn't Jewish. That's the way it works. The reason I bring it is that Sis and BIL didn't seem to have a problem with them in their house or acknowledging their presence. This is interesting to because they're not too keen on associating with non-Jews. They didn't freak out when mynoldest chatted with his cousin. I have to talk with someone about that. Anyway, Sis and I left mid-afternoon to take some family members to the airport--the ones I blow off on a regular basis, like most everyone else. We politely chatted for a few miniutes. Not much to say. Sis did most of the talking, as usual. I finally got home a little while and had dinner. Now I have a mess to clean up in the kitchen.
