Up And Down

Hell Everyone: It was an up and down end of the week for me. First, the contact tracer gig fell through. I had a feeling that it would happen. I wasn't too upset about it because I kind of expecting it Call it intuition. Anyway, I decided to get a little creative about the job search by going onto Facebook and see what I could find. My search yielded two customer service jobs with a couple airlines and a data entry job with an insurance company. That proved to to he successful. I had an interview via chat, a first for me. The person doing the questioning was a very good typist and had not so great command of the English language. IT was enough to get the point across and I got the job. Not too bad. I haven't signed anything or shared the news anyone. I'm waiting until I've had some time to read over the material and do some resesrch. If I go ahead with the job, it would mean a nice raise for myself. Also, I wouldn't have to work so many hours and can have a little bit of a life. That sounds nice. What wasn't nice was nearly fainting from low blood sugar in the laundry room. Once I came to my senses, I bought an emergency can of Coke from the soda machine and felt better. After a bit of a lecture from Sis about eating more carbohydrates, I was much better. Lately I've been too lazy to cook some grains or beans. It's also been too hot to cook. Anyway lecture or not, all's well. As for the job, I'll do my research.
