Hello Everyone: Friday I tried to gracefully quit my job. I finally got so fed up with all the nonsense that I emailed someone at a school I applied to and we had a phone interview that day. The good news is I got hired. The not so great news is that it's part time. When I tried to gracefully quit the data entry job, the pissant didn't even pay attention to a word I said. The pissant even told me to calm down. He's the most infuriating person in the world. I told that the data entry thing wasn't working for me. My need for stability and security wasn't being met. Everything I said went in one ear and out the other. I wasn't being rude, in fact, I was quite polite. I thought that was the end of things but no. Anyway, I will have to find a way to work both jobs. The good news is the data entry job can be done at home, on my own time. So I can do some of it in the morings before work and some of it in the afternoon, after work. The pissant did make one good point which is I need to work and get paid. Yes, I do and I'm waiting to get paid from them. The teaching job does offer me exactly the kind of predictability I need. I think when I talk to the accountant tomorrow I'll ask him about a paycheck. In the meantime, my brain has been all over the place. I was at the hair salon today and I couldn't even tell the stylist what I wanted done. Fortunately she's very patient. Anyway, I need to get some rest and start fresh in the morning.
