Rethinking The Job
Hello Everyone:
The person I'm working with got me so frustrated today, to the point where I went to the company website to look for the Human Resources person. I wanted to email whoever it is and get out of my Employee Agreement. The drama centered around ordering the work laptop. The company sent me a check to cover the costs, as promised, and I was able to use the mobile deposit feature on my bank's app. Save time and energy. The problem started when he started being mysterious with where to send money to. He wasn't answering my questions or anything like that. To make matters worse, he was beginning to get very pushy and making me uncomfortable. I couldn't deal with him anymore. Fortunately, someone else from accounting texted me, in response to a text I sent her confirming I got the check, I was able to work with her. The whole thing is making me think twice about working for this company. Yes, the money is good and it has career possibilities but I can't stand the way everyone was being so evasive. A simple question like who is the vendor and where do I send payment to became such a struggle that I started to think what's the point here. I had to make less effort getting started with contact tracing job. At least the HR Firm was completely upfront with me. Anyway, I think I got everything smoothed out and tomorrow is another day. Hopefully I don't have to work with this pissant too much longer. I'm thinking of asking the accountant to just send over all the work documents I still need to fill out and put me in touch with a trainer, who can give clear and precise instructions and tell the pissant to leave me alone for good.
