A Good Week

Hello Everyone: Overall, I had a good week. I'm going back to work soon, there's food in the house, the bills and rent are paid. I'd call that a good week. The recruiter texted me to say that I'll be part of a group of 200 people that are being recalled by the local school district. The contact tracer project is supposed to last until the end of the year but the way COVID keeps going and human behavior, I may be working into next year as well. No objections on my part. I enjoy having something to do and getting paid to sit at home. Mostly I like to work and I like what get out of it. What I don't like is the way the anti-vaxxers act like they're making some big political statement by not getting something that's no different than a flu shot, really. I think eventually they'll learn their lesson when they get severly sick or family members refuse to be around them. Or maybe never. Anyway, I treated myself to a double chocolate muffin for breakfast on Saturday and sort of regretted it because I was so full afterwards that I could barely eat the rest of the day. In my defense it was a very good chocolate muffin. A new week starts tomorrow and it's back to the grind.
