The Doctor Wanted A Date
Hello Everyone:
Today's trip to the doctor was surprisingly quick and simple. Mum's ankle sore turned out to be a really minor thing and the doctor prescribed her some antibiotic ointment. The doctor that treated mum was the most mellow person I've met. This prompted me to ask the nurse if he smoked pot after work. The answer is no but still, even mum noticed how super calm he was. She also noticed that he took an interest in me. I think this was the first time it happened. I even Googled him to find out his first name and where he went to medical school. In fact, while we were waiting for the ride back, he called mum to let her know that her ointment was at the pharmacy and then asked to speak to me. That never happens when I go with her to the doctor. He's a nice guy with tribal bicep tattoos but really, I'm taken. Flattered but I'm in love with my British prince. The only annoying moment was at the clinic pharmacy. Mum called in a refill prescription early this morning. Apparently, the clerk forgot to enter it into the system so when I went to pick it up, it wasn't ready. I explained all this to the clerk who checked the file, and went ahead to place a refill order on everything. The short story is it was drug-a-palooza day. We went home with just about every one of the prescription refills and a bottle of migraine medicine for me. The urgent care appointment was pretty quick. We got there in the early afternoon and didn't have to wait the 2-1/2 hours we were told. Thank goodness. I brought stuff to do so I wouldn't be bored. Alright, time for dinner.
