Clutter Free
Hello Everyone:
Well, I the up early part sort of right. I was still tired from the holiday and needed a few extra minutes of sleep and yet, I managed to get everything done in a very timely manner. One of the things I dislike about the big Jewish holidays is the way schedules get upended. It sort of makes it hard to plan things because of the late nights. I'm so tired the next morning that all I want to do is sleep until noon. One thing I can say, so far, is that I had a better Jewish New Year than Sis and her family. Their faithful mini-van of 16 years went wheels up last Friday, in the middle of a busy intersection. The mini-van died, reducing them to one car and needing a new one. It would just cost too much to fix it. Actually, they have another car, it belongs to my oldest nephew. Oh well. I guess no major road trip in the immediate future. I think the trip to the Central Coast did it in. Anyway, I got mum to organize the food in the refrigerator. We have so much food right now that I have no clue what's what. So I asked mum to write down a list of what food items she wants to serve for what meal. This way there's no mix up. This is my sly plan to get things in some order around the house because I cannot stand disorder. More to the point, I don't thrive in clutter. Some people are fine with a disorganized space, I'm not one of them. My evil ex was the king of clutter and it drove me insane but if I moved even so much as a paper clip, he'd have a fit. Thank goodness I'm out of that situation and happier for it. Anyway, it's dinner time.
