Rested And Ready

Hello Everyone:

A very chill weekend for me.  Enough time to recharge for the week. There was a little drama on Thursday involving the laundry. I couldn’t reload the laundry card. I finally managed to fully reload it after a wee be of doing and took care of the chore. Mum tried to get me to go with her to an appointment this coming Thursday. Once again, she tried to use the usual arguments: “Just this once,” or “Can’t you be flexible?”  Thursday is not a very good day because of all the chores I have to do. She finally got the oldest nephew to accompany her. Good, I need the break. These appointments can be exhausting and they wear me out. I did say I would go with her to urgent care because she’s been having problems with a sore on her ankle. It’s not oozing or festering, it’s just painful. Hopefully it’s not anything serious.  Mum’s anticipating spending a few hours in urgent care but it is Monday and who knows how busy it can be. It’s not the emergency room, which can be busy on Mondays. I figure it’s the least I can do. One thing I am happy about is the heat finally eased up. So happy because I finally get plent of sleep without the fan on. I’m hoping the weather stays this way.
