Wedding Stylist

Hello Everyone:

A good Monday for me. I posted a piece on Boyle Heights's push back against gentrification.  Interestong piece. What was puzzling was the way some of gentrification opponents went after a local art space, dedicated to the community. The other thing is community organizers haven't proposed any alternative to gentrification.  Besides blogging away, I've sort of appointed myself wedding stylist.  I've already made makeup and wardrobe suggestions to mom and sis. The latest is a particular color of lipstick for sis to wear with her dress. She liked it. I also strongly urged that the bride have a hair and makeup test. I suggested a makeup look for mom and what jewelry to wear. I sort of fell into after I thought I wouldn't bother with this event. I guess I just don't mom and sis looking like they dressed in the dark. Why should I be the only one looking good. Actually, I plan on looking better than the both of them. They shouldn't have all the attention. I don't want to outshine the bride but I don't mind outshining the mothers of the bride and groom; everyone else. I just want to stay long enough to make an impression. Anyway, I'm tired and it's time for bed.
