Hello Everyone:
I spent part of my afternoon with the family, partaking in a meal. It was pretty low energy because everyone was up late, including yours truly, and was tired. Nevertheless, it still was enjoyable. I was suitably impressed with a tri-colored soufflé sis made. It was made from carrots, cauliflower, and broccoli. What made it impressive is that it remained intact. No collapse in the middle, retained its shape. Sis credited a springform pan. Dessert was homemade strawberry ice cream that didn't melt. Really, it did not melt. How this was accomplished I have no idea but it did not melt. Normally I don't go for strawberry anything, unless it's fresh or jam, too sweet. This wasn't too sweet. The rest of the day was pretty quiet. I did some light house keeping and did some light reading. I missed Skyping the Brit BF because of this lunch. I love gazing into his dark eyes and looking at his warm smile. He has such kind eyes. He was being flirty, which I enjoy. Takes me back to the beginning when we would send flirty texts to each other or steal a kiss when no one was looking. My evening is shaping up to be very quiet. I'll just go to bed early and hopefully get a good nights sleep.
