Hello Everyone:
The day after Passover and all is quiet. No massive putting things back to the way they were. Mom and I decided that we'll slowly return every thing to it's proper place place. More important, I got my fresh brewed coffee back this morning. Fortunately, returning everything to its previous state doesn't involve any heavy duty cleaning. It's a matter of taking something out of one cabinet and putting in another. My favorite part was removing the foil that covered the counters. It is customary to cover the counters with aluminum foil to prevent the Passover food from coming in contact with a non-Passover surface. It makes the kitchen look like a nuclear plant. To prevent further contact a vinyl covering is placed over the foil. The problem I have with all that is they get wet, dirty, and fall apart. So when the holiday is over, I'm quite eager to remove them. As far as reintroducing the food items, that's a slow roll out. Fine by me. I also decided, in the interest of my own sanity, if mom insists on doing something, let her. Life goes smoother for me. Today was also Skype Sunday with the Brit BF. I missed last week because I went to see 'The Theory of Everything.' This week we chatted for over two hours. At one point he got on his soap box about laundry about laundry room etiquette. He was rowing about the way people don't come down on time to remove their close from the machines and give other people a chance to their laundry. It was the most English thing that came flying out of his mouth, rowing about people's bad laundry room etiquette upset the order of the universe. His Union Jack was showing loud and clear. We had a good laugh about it. His Englishness is one of the things I love about him. I can't wait to see him in person again.
