Hello Everyone:
Passover has officially passed over. Thank goodness. Back to normal until next year. I found myself craving a freshly baked pain au chocolate. That went nicely with the peanut butter and jelly sandwich daydream I had on Monday. The last two days were pretty cool. I spent Friday evening at sis's house having dinner with mediocre company. By mediocre, I mean they made a slightly better quality of seat fillers. It was a family with a toddler girl girl (cute and well behaved), two single guys who were no starters for me, and a gaggle of single girls The single guys and girls were more like strays who were looking for a meal. The girls weren't too bright, IQs of turnips. The food and beverage was plentiful and the dessert was decadent. Dessert was something called "Million Dollar Cake." The lucious creation was made of a layer of chocolate meringue, coffee flavored cream, a layer of vanilla meringue, more cream and a drizzle of chocolate sauce. It did me in for the night. Oh my goodness. It was so good. Today was a more low-key lunch. The company was more of the D-lister type with less than great manners. The food and beverage was ample enough. I especially liked the spaghetti squash kugel. After lunch I went home and spent some quality time with a book. Right now I'm watching 'Get Up On.' Love the music. Tomorrow I get to Skype with the Brit BF- yay. Can't wait.
