Life is good today. I got the handbag in the color I wanted, the Brit BF sent me flowers for my birthday, and I gifted myself with all sorts of goodies to make me look and smell pretty. As a bonus, I have two free beverages at my local coffee place coming to me. In short, Happy Birthday to me. The univers showed me. For all the grumbling I did, this birthday turned out to be pretty darn good. Well almost good, I really wished the Brit BF was here with me. So yeah me. Lunch yesterday was more or less something to be gotten through. Most of the meal was about average but the dessert was pretty good-a flour less chocolate cake. I have to get the recipe for that and a cheesecake my niece made. After the meal, I went home and read. Later, I watched Blue Velvet and Saturday Night Live. Not too shabby a way to spend an evening. I love moments like this, when everything just falls into place and all is right with the universe. I just want stop and savor the moment. Inhale, ahhhhhh. La vie est belle. Now the next amazing thing will be acing the planner's exam and getting the job. Maybe this year will be better then the last few years. I'll just take it one day at a time. It's he only way to go. For now I'm one happy chick.
