It is day of Erev Yom Kippur and I am right on track with everything I set out to do today. Yeah. I cleaned the kitchen, returned a DVD to the library, even squeezed in two very delicious meals and a snack. I even managed to layout my outfit for his evening and map out my post-fast meal for tomorrow. Now I have some free time to chill. I so love when things go as planned. I wish I could stay this organized all the time but we all know that no one is that organized. Still it's a good feeling to have everything planned and executed so well that you don't feel rushed. I hate feeling rushed (who does?). I find that when I start to rush, I take twice as long compared to when I take my time. Now that I think about it, if I were a tad more organized, I could've spared a few extra minutes to walk over to the pharmacy to run an errand. I'm looking at the clock and theoretically I do have the time but it's really hot outside and my erand can wait until Sunday. Besides, I really just want to chill right now. I other news, another job prospect came my way yesterday. This is an opening with Department of City Planning. City Planning is opening up a special certification entry-level category for individuals with either one year of preservation experience or a degree in the subject. I qualify in the latter. The position does not become available for applications until next Friday; there's a short file period. I'm going to read it over more carefully and check the dates but I can do this. I know I keep saying this but the more stuff I throw out, the more likely something is going to stick. Anyway, I think I'll go make myself a cup of coffee before I pull myself to together.
