Nomad Worker

Hello Everyone:

Happy Labor to all my American readers.  While it may mark the end of summer vacation, technically, summer doesn't end until September 20 so we still have a little more time.  I want to update you on the  renovations going on at the PLB Business Center.  The center is closed until Wednesday because maintenance is putting in new floors.  This means until then, I have to find an alternate place to work.  Fortunately, there are enough coffee place around my neighborhood and a public library where I can hang out and blog to my heart's content.  The place needed new carpets and faux wood floors anyway so it's not such a bad thing.  I hope that PLB management takes my suggestion and renovate a tower basement classroom as a permenant work space.  While they're at it, PLB can also fix up the adjoining tower basement restrooms so they don't look like beach or gas station restrooms.  One of my ideal situations is working at home so I don't have to always pack up and go somewhere.  The other ideal situation is BF#2 set up an office in Los Angeles so I can have a set place to work.  Botharw wishful thinking on my part.  Although, based on the messages from, the second scenario might be more likely.  Good, I'd love have a set place to blog and work with more media-savvy individuals who can help make my preservation blog a real money making venture.  In the meantime, I am a nomad.
