It's a typically quiet weekend, thus far. Finally, the weather is returning to something resembling normal. On Friday morning, I got a last minute lunch invitation for Saturday. I accepted, grateful for the change of pace. The person who invited me is the same person who invited me for a Passover lunch. The nice lady with the obnoxious cretan of a son. Yesterday, another one of her son's was there with his wife and two adorable children. The wife was a rather pleasent person and the son was more soft spoken. Of course the obnoxious cretan layabout son was there too. It seems that they all live under the same tight squeezed roof. No seemed put out by the arrangement. Anyway, according to the wife, they're moving down the block. Fine. Lunch, once again was a rather casual affair. Also a nice change of pace from the usual State Dinner with the Queen and president affairs so customary with the family. As usual the obnoxious cretan tried to show that he was the smartest person in the room. This time I just dismissed him with a pithy comment. The wife of son #2 is a rather simple unsophisticated person. I'm saying this because from talking to her she seemed to not understand some of the references I made. At least the food was good. Afterward, I just went home and read. Perfect. Otherwise, it's all good. More tasty job prospects in the mix. Now if something would pan out.
