Happy Mother's Day to anyone who is a mom or mom-like. I hope your having a lovely day. I paid tribute to my mom and sis on Facebook with a nice image. My mom isn't the candy, flowers, brunch type,month hat she would have a problem with any of that, it's just not her thing. Come to think of it, I wouldn't object to flowers, chocolate, and brunch either .
I find myself, in what seems to be, a routine Sunday thing, blogging while watching a movie. Those two-ish hours are about the only time right know Incan block out to write, check email, and keep up with friends. It's not like I'm insanely busy on Sunday, it's just uninterrupted time. Hey, whatever works. Right now I'm watchIng this Italian movie which one the Oscar for Best Foreign Language Motion Picture this year. It's kind of Fellini-like with beautiful people experiencing first-world problems of being beautiful and rich in Italy. Please. The up side of blogging at the movies is that it's quiet and I can, occasionally, draw some inspiration. No one bothers me, expect by telephone. I do a lot of this multi-tasking thing. It's become a matter of course. Catch up on emails over breakfast, tweet during lunch, blog during a movie. You get the idea. Sometimes, this just the way it has to be. I tend to get busy or distracted with other things so I have to grab whatever moment I have to catch up on my world. SonifnI have to blog at the movies, then that's what it has to be.
This reminds me, I should check in with the bf later to see how his Mother's Day from hell went. I hope he didn't have a total collapse. I'll probably do that during the season finale of Once A Upon A Time.
