I'd like to make you aware of another cause worth supporting. Tower Record Store on the Sunset Strip has been an integral part of the Los Angeles music scene for nearly forty years. This iconic record store has been the venue for many performances and in-store signings by some of the legendary rock musicians and singers. While the company itself may no longer be operating the physical building remains as symbol of it's glorious past. The building is currently threatened with demolition in order to make way for another high-end residential, retail, or commercial development. At the moment, the store is safe. The West Hollywood City Council has suggested putting a plaque or designating the property a music square. The question before you, is this the best use of the he site? Myth suggestion is a performance space and gallery to tell the story of the cultural legacy of this iconic part of Los Angeles. If you're a music lover of any genre and want to find more, go to http://www.change.org and read the petition started by West Hollywood resident and community activitist Jerome Cleary and please. SIGN IT. Thanks for your help.
