I'm in a very good mood. I just got my very own copy of Skyfall from the director of the PLB Activities Center. It made my day. Skyfall, in my not humble opinion, is one of the best Bond movies of all-time. I absolutely love the Bond movies. There is just something so wonderfully escapist about James Bond movies that make them so addictive. I got hooked on the films along time ago. I've seen almost all of them and like any other fan, I have my opinions on who the best James Bond (Sean Connery and Daniel Craig), the best theme songs, the best films, and so on. The bf and mom don't get it, which is a bit of a surprise because the bf is a tech head, so you would think, he'd get into the gadgets. The rest of the world can have Harry Potter and Twilight, I'll take James Bond any day of the week.
In general, I'm in a pretty mellow mood today. All I want to do is curl up on a sofa with a book. Right now I have the iPad to keep me entertained and busy. All this in the face of the political tantrum our Congress is throwing. Please people grow up. For those of you reading this outside the U.S, I apologize for our government. Unfortunately the inmates have taken over the asylum. Hopefully this will be resolved soon. I'm definitely enjoying the day.
