Daily Interaction

Hello Everyone: Another incredibley uneventful Independence Day. The highlight of my was visiting mum and dad at the cemetary. Glad I got that over and done with quickly and without too much effort. Sis and BIL went with me and stopped by for a few minutes to measure a sleeper sofa that Nephew #1 wants to take with him to school. Otherwise, it was pretty quiet. That sums up my weekend in general. Since work took a hiatus, it's been pretty quiet. I miss the the daily Zoom interactions with my co-workers. Funny, I thought I wouldn't miss them but I do. The daily interactions were something I enjoyed very much. Normally I'm not a social person. I really prefer to work on my own and not collaborate too much with other people. I don't do chit chat by the coffee maker. Ye I find myself wishing for those random encounters, the back and forh that comes with work. The right mix of people can make even the worst job more palatable. Maybe the hiatus will be short and maybe not, whatever happens, I just want the daily interaction again.
