Genuinely Tired

Hello Everyone: Remember yesterday when I said I was already bored? I wasn't bored today. Just the opposite, I had plenty to do, mostly errands online and in person. Tomorrow, it's stuff around the house. I did update my LAUSD prospective employee profile and speak with another job coach. The job coach and I spoke for about an hour and she gave me an assignment to complete between now and the next time we meet: To find and or apply for two jobs for now. By jobs for now I mean the kind that will sustain me until I can find something that matches my skills and experience. It's supposed to be an employees market right now but kind of doesn't seem like it. Every place I look seems to want experience for entry level jobs. Also, I'm sort of stuck in this place of being overqualified for some jobs and underquailified for others. This complicates things but I'm not going to give up. I can't give up. It's just very frustrating to suddenly go from something semi-secure to nothing. Yes, the HR firm did say that if the work picks up again, that we'd be recalled but that's a big if. I'm not waiting around. Yesterday I followed up with the new recruiter to find out if he got my resume, on time. He gave me a deadline of Monday 10am and I sent it off on Saturday. So he should've gotten way before the Monday deadline. Now I'm feeling tired but in a good way. Tired in the way I used to feel after a shift not like I haven't done anything all day tired. Anyway, time to make dinner. Hopefully I'll hear from the new recruiter soon. I know he's just anxious to get me employed and I am to be employed.
