Back To Work

Hello Everyone: Back to work today. Fortunately it wasn't too busy. I has a light caseload, which I got through quickly. Nothing too complicated, unlike some of the cases I had last week. Not that I mind a light caseload. At least with a light caseload I can better focus on what's in front of me Anyway, the permanent job search is a little slow right now. I reached out to a job coach last week and still haven't heard back so I'll do a follow up. The email I drafted to the recruiter for the job I have now hasn't been sent or deleted. I wrote it in an emotional moment. It's still sitting in my draft email folder because I'm not sure what I want to do with yet it. Depending on how things go, I may go back and edit it. I'm still not too thrilled by the way this contact tracer project is being handled but it's not my job to smooth out all the rough spots. I can only focus on my end of it. I think my dissatisfaction is with the way the whole thing was set up to begin with. It had this very rushed last minute/make it up as we along feel to it. Also, the training period should've been longer and more hands on. I'm sure there's a way to do that with Zoom. Other work-related things annoy me but they're not deal breakers. In general, I think I'm doing an okay job. I don't think I'm messing up badly,I just need to slow down and check my work. My co-workers and supervisors are cool which makes the job that much better. At least I have some work that keeps occupied and out of the malls.
