No Family Weekend

Hello Everyone: I had a nice surprise on Thursday. Sis texted me to say that she and her family were going to be out on Saturday so our weekly lunch was off. Needless to say I was happy. I was thinking of taking another break and the timing was perfect. So I had the whole weekend to myself. I started an online course in project management. I have some time and no other distractions ao I can commit at least a half hour a week to it plus another however long for the assignments. I think a project management certificate could open a few doors for me and it's free from the public library. I only got through the first module with plently more to go. The online instructor seems engaging and knowledgable. The best part, other than it being free, is I can go at my own pace. On Friday I had a Teams call with the new job coach. It was a good call and we agreed to talk again this coming Wednesday. I shared with her my thoughts on the possibility of being recalled to the contact tracing job. She seemed to agree with my approach, acting as if it's not coming back. If I do get an email about coming, I'll consider it. I think it might happen because this new COVID is spreading fast. It's most centered in the under and unvaccinated areas but people don't stay in one place. We'll see what happens.
