Productive Monday

Hello Everyone: I had a productive day and now it's time to chill. I had enough time this morning to run an errand. Very happy about that because I got what I needed, mostly. I forgot one item but I'll picked up it another day. I applied for a job as a gallery attendant at one of the local museums. The pay is alright and, with some careful planning, would cover my needs. I still need something more permenant. The good about it is that it's what I call a gateway job. Once I'm in, I'm in. Then it's a matter of establishing myself and keeping an eye out for the career job. Sometimes you got to do what you need to do to get where you want to be. I can't wait on the Brit BF to come and sweep me off my feet into a gilded life. He'll probably do that anyway because he's so talented and ambitious but I can't wait around for that to happen. I also touched base with my recruiters to find out what's going on. I figure if I stay in contact with them I'll get results. I asked my original recruiter if she has any idea about whether the contact tracing project is starting up again. The Delta variant looks to be a serious problem, albeit, in the unvaccinated areas. I asked the new recruiter if he has anything to tell me. As long as I don't hound them, I should be good. Anyway, I'm going to go have an enjoyable dinner/
