One Of Side Musicians

Hello Everyone: I had a bit of a morning today. I was out on my run when I got an email from a recruiter about a call center-type job he told me about. The email described a pre-employment test I had to take to determine if I could get a one-on-one interview. Fine, I told him that I was out but will do it when I get home and submit it on time, which I did. The test was in three parts: how a CSR would handle different scenarios, some basic math, and personality. I didn't pass which didn't surprise me because there's never a right answer to those tests. You either come off as this very cold and rigid person, irresponsible and unreliable, or an alcoholic-addict psycho. Companies that use those tests are looking for rock stars. You can't be the rock star all the time. Sometimes you have to be one the musicians in the band that may have rock star potential but you'd never know it because all anyone wants to see is the rock star. The whole thing kind of upended my morning. I had plans to go back and start reviewing the first three chapters of the online project management course I started. Since it's self-paced, I can take my time with it. I want to take a week or two, if necessary, to review and catch up with assignments before moving forward. Speaking of moving forward, I submitted an application to one of the local museums for a content specialist job. It's in museum education, which is my goal job. The CSR jobs are steps along the way. Researching and producing content is something I can do well. In the meantime, I reached out again to my contact at the insurance company to confirm my interest in the benefit coordinator job but needed more specifics. She responded that she will have someone on their end contact me. Even though I did some research, I still need more information before I make a final decision. I know they're massive on employee retention but insurance may not be the career for me. I do need to find something soon and the sooner the better.
