Day One Of The New Assignment

Hello Everyone: Today was Day One of the new assignment and it's definitely less complicated work. The new assignment involves approving or declining COVID tests, based on five data points. I can most definitely do that. Today I met my new work group and lead; they seem nice, a little technically clueless but nice. I'm still in communication with my previous work group. I sort of like them. It's way too early to say how well it's going because it's only Day One. In other news, the Brit BF sent me a link to a video clip for his animation project. I do plan to take a look at it. We briefly chatted the other day. He found himself an American entertainment lawyer that could help trademark his work. He explained that the real money is in licensing agreements for things like coffee mug and t-shirts. Sounds a lot better than the NFT market, another crazy way to make an obscene amount of money very quickly. I read about a New York Times reporter who created an NFT from one of his columns and made over a million dollars, which he donates to the newspaper's charity. The Brit BF is on the fence about turning his animation project into an NFT. I'm just happy he's making some progress. Speaking of progress, things seem to be going well for me. I did some grocery shopping and got some blogging done. Those always make me happy because I feel like I accomplished something. More important, every time I do something as banal as grocery shop for myself or pay a bill, it's like I'm telling mum "I told you so". It's a great feeling.
