Cause For Celebration

Hello Everyone: Work got very interesting on Friday. We caught an outbreak. In it's own twisted way, it was cause for celebration. I mean, it's what we prepared for, right? I can't wait to see my test quene on Monday (slight sarcasm alert). The outbreak involves two high school sports teams, their coaches, trainers, kit men, any school district affiliated person they came in contact with. Needless to say we're going to be busy. One of the good things about the new assignment is much less information I have to know. It's like everything I needed to know about the role, I learned in one day. By Thursday I doing solo work. I told the Brit BF that I noticed an increase in chatter between the tracer work groups and the assigned nurse for the shift but didn't think much about it until the main supervisor dropped into the Zoom room and told us what was going on. Well, I never said the pandemic was going to go away. In other news, lunch at Sis's house was fairly painless. As long as we keep things light and polite, I won't have a problem with anyone. At least there was chocolate for dessert. Always important. The rest of the weekend was pretty much status quo. I think I'll add a few more apps on my laptop so I can stream some of my favorite television shows. At least I can kill some time. Anyway, it's just about time for bed.
