Setting More Boundaries
Hello Everyone:
Another good day. Another city job lead landed in my inbox yesterday evening and I applied for it today. This one is a customer service position with the City Housing Authority. It looks like something I could definitely do and could have career potential. The important thing is that it would provide me with the two things I deserve, a good job and a steady income with benefits. We'll see what happens. Once again I had to establish some boundaries with BIL. I told him that I really don't need any prompts or hints about finding a job. I know what I need to do and I'm doing it. I also told him that I'm cognizant of the fact they have other priorities and I don't need to be told anything more than once. I think he got the message. All part of doing what I need to do to create some boundaries. Boundaries are important because they establish a clear line for what is or isn't acceptable. Being constantly nagged about this, that, and the other is not acceptable to me. As I explained to the BIL, afte a certain point I stop listening to the person. He got the idea. Good. Otherwise, no major issues or complaints.
